“Odakyu” railways organized a contest to celebrate their 80th aniversary. The contest is about designing the external look for Express, Semiexpress and Local Odakyu trains; only kids from primary school can participate. A while ago I found a perfect place to take Shinkansen (Japanese bullet train) pictures. You take Tokyo’s Yamanote line until Hamamatsuchō station, go out using the south exit and walk until the end of the corridor. Cross the bridge and look for a nice window. The sign in the pictures it’s indicating the entrance to an onsen. I like the two happy kappa they used to promote the place.
Shimokitazawa area is one of my favorite places in Tokyo.
