Old fountains
I love how Japanese people keep using old stuff, reuse it, evolve it, integrate it with new things. For example, I love to find lever fountains while walking around Tokyo streets. This is my collections of lever fountain pictures. I can’t imagine finding fountains like this in Madrid, San Francisco or New York; we got rid off them but Japanese not, and they still use them.

This picture was taken in Meguro, in the middle of Tokyo.

Those old fountains are great, they barely ever break and when they do they’re incredibly easy to fix.

You see them a lot in New York actually. Not the metropolitan areas, but in parks or more ‘rural’ areas in the outskirts. Farms tends to have some. They’re there for the aesthetics they do still function.
In Korea though, I remember using it almost daily. It looked the same as in those pics.
