Umbrella with a screen

Por kirai el 17 de May de 2007 en Technology

Pileus.net announced they are going to commercialize umbrellas with a screen originally developed by Keio University. On rainy days we will be able to watch TV, access the Internet and even watch our pictures with a nice “umbrella user interface” (Watch video). The most interesting application would be available thanks to a GPS integrated in the umbrella that will use Google Maps to guide us.

I’d love to see someone walking around the streets watching TV on their umbrellas and not watching where they’re going XD

  2. I agree with Linc…this will lead to so much more deaths, its worst than ipods. Everyone will be stealing each others umbrellas more than usual with the umbrella going into mass production

  3. wow this is interesting, u would see people opening their umbrellas on a cloudy day even

but would looking up constantly cause neck strain

  4. haha, alafista is right! “neck doctors” would come up like rats!

  5. [...] At first I came to find this pretty cool picture umbrella over on Kirainet.com [...]
